Question:

The Rick-O-Sound Jack will only output from the neck pickup if you use a mono cord; order the Rick-o-sound kit from Rickenbacker like I did and use the Rick O Sound jack; the bass pickup will run one amp.channel, the treble the other. This allows you to adjust the amps at direrent settings for different color/tone. -Dave "The Beatles might have made better albums than us, but we could have blown them off the stage" JAE

Response:

The Ric-o sound kit allows you to send each pickup on your ROS-equipped guitar or bass to its own amp or own channel on a two-channel amp. You plug the TRS plug into the ROS jack on your guitar and then run standard guitar cords from the jacks on the box to two amps, etc. And I agree with Mr Entwistle completely.

Anyones opinions on the Rick-o-sound stereo kit? I have one but want to get the most out of it. -Dave "The Beatles might have made better albums than us, but we could have blown them off the stage" JAE

Response:

Rick-O-Sound is just a stereo output jack. It allows you to split your pickup signals into 2 different amps. One amp for the front pickup and one for the back. If you’ve got the scratch for two amp setups and a roadie or a good chiropractor, go for it. Other than that, if your happy with the mixed sound you’re getting from the regular jack, you’ll have a little scratch left over to buy yourself a burrito or two after the gig!

One could also send each signal through different FX/EQ, mix them together, and put it into one amp. — Mathias

How can you line out from a single jack to two separate amps? I
