Baby Its Cold Outside! Stay Fired Up to Lose Weight..

Well its not cold yet! But its getting there! So will you do like a bear- hibernate and gain weight? Or will you stay on track and stay healthy throughout the winter months. Although you lose the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors for getting in physical activities, you can still be active. For example, before the snow falls, soon the leaves will be falling and if you have to get out to rake them, this definitely counts as movement and getting in some fat burning activities. Also you can engage in some fun activities indoors such as many interactive games on various video consoles such as Wii, Xbox and etc. For example, I personally love Zumba Fitness on the Wii game and playing Tennis on Wii Sports. I find myself working up a sweat right in my living while having fun. If youre a Michael Jackson fan, you can go back in time and enjoy his greatest hits and try to imitate his moves featured in the video. Pick your pleasure and Im sure there is an interactive version for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. You can also still engage in indoor walking at your local Malls, supermarkets and etc.

Cooking comfort foods can be a temptation during the winter months. However, always remember to look for healthier options. For example, everyone loves Chilli, and instead of using ground beef, you can use ground turkey. Also if you are a vegetable fan, take advantage and load up. I also have personal of White Chicken Chilli, which uses any type of white beans, the seasoning, and boneless skinless chicken breast. It is soo good and filling. You can also get into a lot of great recipes for this seasons that includes applies, pumpkins and etc.

There is never a season for gaining weight! Life doesnt have a Pause button, therefore if you gain weight in the winter, it will make your spring challenging and then you wont be where you want to be by Summer and the cycle continues. Therefore, make it your goal to be healthy all year around. I learned the hard way in taking a break, the fat didnt go on vacation and I gained 9 pounds that took me several months to lose.

So now that its getting cold, dont let our efforts get cold, but stay fired up to be healthy!
